I enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day with my family. After waking to breakfast in bed AND A CLEAN KITCHEN, we went to Mercer Botanical Garden in Humble, TX. The gardens, trails, ponds, and fountains were beautiful and the weather was perfect for walking. It wasn't exactly Mace and Jake's idea of a good time, but they were good sports. 
After lunch at Pappa's on the Lake, we ventured around Lake Conroe. 
That night, Chad and the kids made me a special Mother's Day cake--and it was awesome!
