The Final Count

It's official. . .Maggie had 6 boys and 4 girl pups. The family is excited and we are ALL trying to adjust to the sounds of puppy love.

It's a boy and a girl and a boy and a girl. . . .

Chad woke up this morning to let Maggie out her kennel and was surprised to find 7 little puppies hanging out in there with her! Maggie and the next door neighbor's dog, Bob who's also a lab, had a little rendevouz about a month and a half ago. Today, Maggie safely delivered a total of 10 puppies. Anybody interested in giving a lab pup for Christmas gifts?

Boys' First Game

This week Mace and Jake had their first basketball game. Their team is called the "Bulls" ,and we are sad to report that the Bulls lost their first game. The final score was a whopping 14 -8! There were a lot of attempted shots, but unfortunately there was also a lot of AIR BALLS! The boys actually played pretty well--they are much better at defense than offense. BooBoo and the girls were also there to cheer the guys on. Go, BULLS!

Halloween 2006

Tonight we went Trick or Treating. Mason was Darth Vader and Jake was the guy from "Scream." Callie , for the second year in a row, was Cinderella. We just can't seem to get her to change costumes! Rylie and Jay came over, too. Lil' Ry was Eeyore and Jay was a fairy. The kids had lots of fun and received a BUNCH of candy! They walked the entire neighborhood and did a pretty good job--we had to carry Callie back because the candy just didn't seem that important to her anymore!

A new Addition

Congrats to Bridget and Chris Weaver who welcomed a beautiful baby GIRL named Charley. If any of you know Bridget, you know how hilarious this is going to be---watching her raise a girl--Honestly, it's about the same as me raising Callie! Congrats also go to Big Bro Drew! WELCOME TO THE GANG, CHARLEY!

Chase's Baptism

Today we went to Chase's Baptism in Mandeville. It was a very nice day and little Chase-man handled all the commotion quite well. Here's some pictures at the after party at Michele and Shane's. Check out my little niece and nephew in the picture with Michele---They look and act so much alike--they could be TWINS:)

Far Away Friends

Since my camera is broken, I'm going to post some friends' pictures. Our friends Chris and Tammie Goodnight and Kristin and Craig Abney have been living in Houston. SINCE I HAVEN'T SEEN THEM IN FOREVER, they sent me some pictures of their girls. These pictures are adorable---I miss you all very much!

Birthday BBQ

Chad invited the Gandy's and Slayton's over to visit. We watched the LSU game and barbecued---the only time it came a FLOOD was when Chad had to go get the meat off the grill--It was hilarious! Thank you, Bay---the food was good!

Sunday Fun

On Sunday, Mason and I went to a birthday party in Slidell. Chad, Jake, Callie and the Gandy's hung out at the house to watch the Saints Game. Here are a few pictures Julie took for me. Look how sweet they all are! Also, thanks Boo Boo for the birthday greeting!

I think they may have added a few new subjects to the public school curriculum. Apparently, "How To Be a Thug" and "Pole Dancing 101" are being offered.

Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend at Mammie and Paw Paw's enjoying their new hot tub. The guys also went fishing and had a blast. The tooth fairy came to visit, too. Mace lost his other front tooth so he now has to eat everything off his back teeth. Thanks Mom and Dad! We had a great time!

Low Key Weekend

This weekend my sister Julie went to Baton Rouge to celebrate her birthday. Our gift to her was to watch Jay and Rylie overnight. Jay had a good time playing with our crew and Rylie was an absolute angel! She is probably the happiest little baby I've ever seen. She slept all night and never made a peep! Her favorite person by far is her cousin Mace. He held her and rocked her asleep more than I did!

Fun in the Sun

Last weekend, we had some friends over to BBQ, ride dirtbikes, and play on a waterslide. My friend, Christy, sent some pictures that came out so cute! All the parents and kids had a great time!

Sunday BBQ

Today we had our friends over from the Tennessee trip so we could compare pictures. Well, in true style everyone forgot their pictures BUT REMEMBERED THE BEER! The Gandy's came over, too, because there was an inflatable waterslide and four wheelers. Chad cooked an AWESOME brisket! It was a hot day, but we all had fun!

Ten Kids In One Cabin

Here's the last bit of pictures from our trip. If you can believe it, we had ten kids in one cabin and all the parents came back ALIVE! We had our three, Reagan and Tatum (Christy's), Katherine and Lauren (Tracy's), Christopher and Kiley (Pat & Kristie's), and Drew (Bridget's--plus she pregnant with #2)!
