Roo wrestling with Daddy---so sweet.
Chad and the boys spent most of the day at the golf course with Mr. Brandon. They came back sunburned and tired, but they had a really good 'guy day.'

Thank you to all our friends and family for their prayers. At this time, Tory is at TIRR in Houston and the girls are staying with us for awhile. Tory is progressing quite well, and we are all still very hopeful for his future. Tory has started a rigorous rehabilitation program at TIRR. Each day he works on fine and gross motor skills and is learning how to maneuver a wheelchair on his own. Yesterday, with the help of therapists, Tory put weight on his legs and tried to stand--we were all very excited. Tory's attitude has been very positive and he is determined to walk again. The girls have been going to visit their Daddy (even though Rylie makes a mess of things). And while it may not be the best of circumstances, The Gandy Family seems to be doing quite well.

Rylie's new 'toys'--a bedpan and Tory's neckbrace.

Chad's day started with breakfast in bed. He doesn't look too happy; I guess it's because he woke up to FIVE kids yelling.
I just love this picture of Callie and Jalyn--they are having such a good time!
"Happy Birthday To You!"
After grilling steaks and burgers, ALL the KIDS had a water fight with cups and water balloons.
Jake, Jay, and Mace performing the "Milkshake" dance from the movie "Dodgeball."
Rylie (AKA "Moobs") enjoyed the water, too!
Happy Birthday to our niece, Sadie. We wish we could be there to help you celebrate. We hope your day was special!
On Thursday, we went to Powell Elementary to see the boys' 4th Grade Graduation Ceremony. Apparently it's a REALLY big deal here to leave elementary school. First, the boys received their diplomas and had a 'Clap Off.' The entire school lined the hallways and applauded the fourth grade classes. We then joined the boys in the auditorium for refreshments. I couldn't believe the pomp and circumstance for 4th grade---it was pretty cool.

On Sunday, we met Terri, Brandon and the kids at the pool so the kids could swim.
IT WAS HOT AND CROWDED, but we all had a lot of fun.
Roo was more interested in the turtles and ducks at the pond! It's almost IMPOSSIBLE to get that girl to look at the camera!
Cooling off in the pool--Callie and Jay swam across the pool without floaties! We are so proud!
Jalyn's 7th Birthday Party--We love you, JayJay!
