We celebrated Chad's 35th birthday this weekend. On Friday night, we went to a TERRIBLE seafood restaurant then Baker St. Pub for live music and drinks. We had a great time as usual.
On Saturday, Chad did have to cook his own birthday dinner because he's the only who knows how!!! He made his very delicious BBQ shrimp with french bread--it was so good. We invited the Rookers over to help celebrate since they were unable to make it out Friday (Becky's VERY pregnant). After watching the Tigers' win, we sang "Happy Birthday" and enjoyed cake and ice cream.
In the background is the boys' friend, Adam. We just found out last week that he and his family are moving back to Canada in July. We are all so upset--Adam has been a great friend to our boys. Later, I asked the boys if that meant we could move back to Louisiana and Mace said, "No--we do have other friends!" Oh, well. . . .it was worth a shot!Happy Birthday, Chad Michael! I love you!

Glad you guys had a fun time! Sorry the food sucked. As long as the night ended well. Sorry we missed it.
